United Kingdom Visa

• For US Citizens, no visa is required for a stay up to six months.  For specific cases that a US citizens may require a tourist visa, please contact us at 310-828-7878
• U.S. Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay
• Tickets and Documents for return or onward travel
• No vaccination is required

Requirements for Non-U.S. Citizens to Obtain Tourist Visa to Enter UK

All UK Visa applicants should initially complete the Online UK Visa application form and pay the visa fees online, then print and sign the application. While filling the online UK visa application, applicants will be advised of their closest Biometrics Center to visit and have their fingerprint taken. The applicant will be given a receipt upon completion of the Biometrics process. Subsequently, they should send the completed and signed Visa application form, the Biometrics receipt, along with the following documents to Ambassador Passport and Visa Services:

• Submit your valid passport, passport must have 6 months remaining validity
• 1 Fully Completed Visa Application Form

Please note: In order to use our service and to be able to expedite your UK visa, you must select and pay for "Priority Service" at the end of the UK online visa application form.  Otherwise Ambassador Passport and Visa will not be able to assist you in processing your visa in any way.  

Very Important: when starting your online visa application, you will be prompted to check for available biometric locations on the page titled "Premium Services".  You should only chose the drop-down selection titled "USA - Application Centers".  By doing so, at the end of the application, you will be given multiple choices for the closest USCIS Biometric Centers, based on your state and zip code. 

Please also note, only the consular fees should be paid using the VFS website (please chose "Standard Processing" only).  You should NOT purchase "courier services", "scanning options" or any additional services.  Additionally, upon completion, the documents and requirements SHOULD NOT BE SHIPPED directly to the UK consulate or VFS Centers.  They should be sent to our office directly.

• 1 Passport photograph
• Evidence of legal residence in U.S.A. ie: valid multiple entry visa with a clear copy of I-94 attached, copy of alien registration card / Green Card, copy of I-512 Advance Parole Document, Valid I-20 (must be signed on reverse by designated school official) Copy of return/onward airline tickets or itinerary.
• Hotel Confirmation or letter from your host / sponsor in the UK. The letter from your host or sponsor must state he / she will provide room and board support for you during your visit, Host or sponsor must provide proof of legal status in the UK (e.g. British Passport, Work Permit, Student Visa).
• Evidence of funds available for your visit. Three months of most bank statements is required.
• Copy of round trip flight itinerary (not required, but recommended).
• Employment Letter. A letter from employer which includes length of employment, salary, and vacation dates. If self-employed, a copy of business license is required.

UK Student Visa

• 1 Passport photograph
• The CAS Letter (Confirmation of acceptance for studies) from the school in U.K.
• Most recent bank statement or a letter from the bank showing proof of sufficient funds for tuition and maintenance.  If the bank statements are under a parent's name, copy of parent's passport, copy of student's birth certificate, as well as a letter indicating the parents support and commitment to cover all expenses is required.
• If applicant has student loans, copy of loan documents or grant is required.
• Proof of IHS (Immigration Health Surcharge) is required.  This has to be paid online when completing the visa application form.
• For non US Citizens, evidence of legal residence in U.S.A. ie: valid multiple entry visa with a clear copy of I-94 attached, copy of alien registration card / Green Card,  Valid I-20 (must be signed on reverse by designated school official)
